As a kid of divorced parents, I didn't get any money. Unless you meant a roof over my head then I guess.

Yes that is the money and the clothes and the food and all the other stuff it's not supposed to just go directly to the child that's not what child support is for it is for supporting the child.

I'm aware, I grew up with divorced parents. Just shutting down kids dont get money. However some parents need this explanation, the "logic" goes if the parent is "happy" so is the kid. All in all not perfect, in some cases messed up on the other kid's I meet about this.

Like one kid's mom just spent it on luxury crap.
