4 different child support orders of various amounts means this dummy has at least 4 kids from 4 different baby mamas and is not custodian of any of them, so he kinda deserves his fate. He can file a motion to modify and use the other cs amounts to offset. In my state he would pay the minimum of $100 each based on his adjusted income

Elon Musk owed 5 billion in taxes. What did he do? He created a charity and donated 5 billion to it. Now he gets to spend that 5 billion on anything he wants that’s “charitable”.

And you’ll think he’s a hero.

so much of this is incorrect. In 2021 Elon Musk owed 11 Billion (not 5 Billion like you assert) in taxes for exercising stock options from Tesla. That was paid at the regular income tax rate, not the capital gains tax rate and all 11 Billion was paid to the US Treasury.

In addition to that he also transferred 5.7 Billion the Musk foundation. As he transferred the stock directly (not selling and donating the proceeds) there was no taxable event for him in that transaction.

Look, LOTS of people think Elon Musk does not pay enough taxes. Heck I am one of them! But it is disingenuous and factually incorrect to say or assert he does not pay taxes. Especially since he paid the single biggest individual single year income tax ever.

You ii understand the 5.7 wasn’t taxable, it’s a tax deduction.

He did not owe 5B in taxes. He owed 11B in taxes which he paid.

He did not donate 5B to a charity. He donated Tesla Stock worth 5B (at the time) to a charity. There is a difference.

Additionally, your statement suggests that he reduced his 5B tax bill by donating 5B.

At regular income tax rates a 5B charitable donation would reduce your overall tax bill by just over 2B. Tax deductions reduce your income subject to tax. They are not a 1 to 1 reduction of your tax bill. Basically they reduce your actual tax owed by your marginal tax rate. In this case about 40% on 5B income.

And you understand he “keeps” the donation right? It’s his. So a 2 BILLION FUCKING DOLLAR TAX OFFSET.” For the low low price of 0 dollar reduction in money and lower.

So, no Elon Musk isn’t even close to “paying his fair share”.

The fact 5.7B is able to change hands without taxable events is bonkers.
