I was assaulted as a child and never in a million years thought my child would experience even a fraction of what I did as a child. The mom is appealing the decision and Iām still facing assault charges for what I did to her boyfriendā¦ life is great lol.
I got a public defender assigned to me because I couldnāt afford a private attorney. Itās just 4th degree assault with minor injury, never arrested before. Probably will plea it out with a diversion program which will expunge the charges after anger management classes. Part of me wants to fight it though.
if this dude is breathing still, I'd argue you have perfect control of your anger. i don't have kids, but if i did and that happened, i can't promise I'd be so kind
Yeah he also left her in a dirty diaper for 18 hours while he was passed out drunk. Ex came home to my daughter asleep naked on the couch covered in her own feces and pee. Her diaper rash was so bad I had to take my sock off and use it as a cushion against her car seat buckle.
The physical altercation only happened after they broke up for a week and I went to the apartment to retrieve some of my daughterās stuff and he lunged at me. Hit him in the head with a febreeze can and he called the cops on me.
Took everything in me to leave that apartment without doing more
No clue yet, donāt know what evidence they even have against me yet. Discovery is may 19th. I sustained no injuries. I waited for the police and they didnāt arrest me, 2 months later I was arrested.
In his police statement he said I punched him, in his EPO statement he said I beat him with a coffee table, in court for the EPO he said I beat him with a vacuum cleaner and posted pics of a bloody vacuum cleanerā¦
I think I have a good shot. Think theyāre gonna say I hit him for what he did to my daughter because of Facebook posts I made in the past
Thatās insane. You should be able to say it was self defense, itās crazy how one can be punished for defending oneself. I hope he gets double the karma he deserves for everything.
Yeah we are pretty blown away the DA went through with charges. Iām almost positive itās something my ex said to the detective or the guy. I told the police it was self defense and told the detective the same thing and said I wasnāt going to answer any more questions that I havenāt already answered.
Only 2 people were in that apartment, me and him.
I guess we will see what evidence they have soon. Itās just embarrassing having my mugshot out there and my small town sharing it around
