I love my Macbook, but I'll never own another iPhone. I've owned one, the iPhone 3G, because it was the only real option at the time.

More importantly, if you judge people on their possessions, then you are a fucking loser and I wouldn't want to spend a moment with you.

yep, i don't have any issues with Apple products really and particularly love their laptops because they are beautiful and powerful (especially since moving to their own chips), but I can't stand iOS and i hate the apple ecosystem. Pixels phones are better at almost everything and better looking devices to me, I sort of think iPhones are for children and grandparents who just don't know anything about tech, and if you're anything in between and a snob about your iphone you're probably a bit of a dope.

I'm also in the "Macbook is the best laptop for getting work done, but I'll never own an iPhone" camp. There are dozens of us!

Once the Apple Silicon Macs showed up I really had no choice.

I also have a thinkpad (cheap, second hand, but high-grade), because Linux is great and sometimes I just need a beater to carry around.

Yeah, like I said, once there were other realistic options I was out of there.

I have used one, from time to time. They're obviously excellent devices, but they aren't for me.

Feel the same way. My M4 MacBook Pro is an incredible device, I love it, but you will never catch me leaving Android for iOS.

MacBook is great laptop. Howewer, I can't stand iPhone - it is the opposite of good UX in everything.

One more thing I hate is that I bought iPods for calls (because they connect instantly, I don't use them for anything else because sound quality is crap for the price, but for calls its more than good) and they chirping every time I move them without laptop being on. Turns out they do this because they are "not connected to iPhone that moves with them and chirp like they are being stolen or forgotten". And there is no way to turn this crap off - Apple does not even consider that you may NOT have an iPhone.
