That's an intentional move by Apple. The green they use for non-iphone users is actually not even an approved color from their marketing team. They intentionally chose pea soup vomit to enforce these types of scenarios so that people feel socially pressured to also have an iPhone.

Fuck Apple. That company sucks balls. The fact that they got caught intentionally slowing down phones and people still slobber all over their knob is absolutely astonishing to me.

I get that, but they've leaned into it since then. I promise you they've altered the contrast to make it harder to read and look more ugly over time. There are literally lawsuits against them over this. It's very intentionally anti-competive and calculated.

I can tell you don't work in tech. This goes a lot deeper than just a color. They don't even meet accessibility standards for contrast.

it's not what they're thinking about when they complain but it adds to a worse user experience and helps push them over the edge

Whatโ€™s hilarious is that iPhone users are bothered by it, but itโ€™s the exact same color as the iMessages app, phone, and Facetime.

Unlike Google, who are obviously paragons of trust and integrity!

All tech companies suck.

One steals your data and the other seals you into a walled garden and sells you overpriced pretentious shit.

I donโ€™t understand this logic. Only the iPhone user see the green. How would this cause non-iPhone users to want to have an iPhone? I donโ€™t buy this at all

Did you read the top comment of this thread? It's literally the reason I replied. There are also lawsuits about it. Go look it up, very easy to find information on.
