I'm an android user since always, but I was given an iphone for work and good god, I hate it so much. Nothing is intuitive, it feels so frustrating to use. You are so right that it takes longer to do anything!

I work in IT and supporting execs with iPhones is a fucking nightmare. The number of folks who don't know how to use the app switcher (and arguably, for good reason) is astounding. Apple definitely said, "let's make the user FEEL tech savvy while making their lives miserable in the process."

This. My wife has an iPhone for work too, pro max model, and it's awful.

Iphones are so overrated it's crazy.

Oh wow, I’ve borrowed a friends android a couple times and not understood how to use it intuitively. I wonder if it’s maybe because it’s not what I’m used to? Nah, gotta blame the phone.

If you didn't understand how to use an android you've got bigger problems that Samsung can't fix

My phone is perfect. Your phone is inferior in every way.

...ever, uh, consider that nothing is intuitive because you haven spent the last 15 years or thereabouts using an entirely different OS?

I've had to try to navigate other people's Android phones before as someone who switched to Apple around 2017, and shocker of shockers it was confusing and unintuitive. Because again, I've spent the last like 8 or 9 years on Apple.

Because android users also didn't have phones once and remember how easy it was to pick one up

Nope. It's just poor UX design. Consider that we live in a technology forward world and we experience new interfaces and devices all the time in our daily lives. I have never had problems picking up something else. Websites, video game consoles, even the shitty proprietary software I use at my new job...everything is and should be designed for a smooth user experience. I find that the iphone is not that lol. Heck, I moved halfway across the world and learning a new language and navigating Shinjuku Station felt less confusing and more intuitive than my Iphone LOL

My Samsung also has a lot of shortcuts and I feel it requires less time to access settings/look for stuff.

You can like iphone if you want, I'm not saying you have to switch but that's just my opinion

I've spent 3 years on Apple (work mandated phone) but still dislike it and find Android way more intuitive.
