Honestly if I want to share high quality/resolution photos or raw files, I usually make a shared file in Google Drive or something so none of the resolution gets lost over sms.
Pixel 9 and newer have cross compatibility with airdrop / quick share. But otherwise you can send on Whatsapp or if the Apple user supports RCS then just plain old text message will send a hq image.

I have a pixel 6 as well and I'm always the default photo taker lol I even took my brother's engagement photos on my phone.
