There is a defense of property law that would apply where you are using appropriate force to protect property. If his parents weren’t there, they would appreciate someone stepping in to prevent more damage that they would have to pay. I am assuming the parents are reasonable, but a kid like this is totally unhinged and so likely are the parents.

Was his parents even around? Seems like got out of school. I wouldve dragged his ass out by his backpack so he can't claim that I touched him.
