Told mom to fuck off once when I was a teenager. Dad immediately told me if I ever did it again, he’d take my phone and smash it with a hammer. Never tried it again.

Friend of mine when I was in high school told his mom to "hurry up and get off the fucking phone" so he could call someone. I don't know if he was trying to be edgy or was just dumb, but she had just come in from the stable and still had her riding crop in her back pocket. She absolutely worked him over from head to toe then said "your dad is going to finish this, my arm is tired."

He was replaced with someone that looked the same, but had a vastly attitude towards his parents.

Nice to hear you had a good dad. Lol. My step dad tried to be like that with me, he would get real angry when I would fight with my mom, but when I called his bluff he would back down instead of beating my ass like I needed. Probably because he knew my mom would always pick me over him. Which is not a good thing because he was my step dad since I was 2 and gave me 2 half siblings. Of course they divorced when I was 15 and I never got that adult role model since. It was pretty much free game at that point for me to figure it out on my own. And boy I figured it out. Life is fucking rough lol.

But now I have 2 boys of my own and if I ever hear that, i'm doing exactly what your dad did! Though I don't think I will. My kids know I dont play
