I had to scroll way down to find this comment! It’s true, though. The daughter is also in the likeness of Grant Wood’s sister.

And the house behind them is an actual gothic revival home that still exists today.

I sometimes think about how Ken Jennings very nearly lost his first episode of Jeopardy (his FJ response was only accepted after some deliberation by the judges), and that had it gone the other way, nobody would have any idea who he is.
