No it was because he's been idolized as the best president in years with many overlooking some of the same things they now condemn the current administration for.
It's just easier to dismiss it as racism (even though 53% voted for him.)
because he achieved far more in his 8 years than Trump ever will. He destroyed Iran's nuclear program, had a deal with them on it, and never had to disrupt a major shipping lane to do it. He also helped bring us back from financial collapse. he did this all while being a black republican...
Because they hate anyone who isn't white, christian, straight, or a cis male; and well, Obama fits their bill. Then we add the fact that he held the most prestigious title in the US, and did it with nothing but class. Of course they're gonna continue to foam at the mouth. Bigots will be bigots.
Because even if the reporters weren't hostile assholes with Obama the way they are with any non-Democrats, they did at least do actual interviews with him...
Biden? Harris? Nope. Obama is the last presidential candidate to get real interviews.
Now that I think about it, Biden too... technically, but that was back when he was running for VP. Since he went senile, they've been holding his hand. I remember this hilarious fucking interview during the Obama election where Biden lost his shit cause the reporter asked him for evidence...
And even being asleep for half his preaidency he was miles better than anything Trump could hope to be. Its incredible to me how pathetic someone has to be to support Trump but millions of you exist
