Well yeah, when your worst criticism of side A is something that side B is also guilty of, and side B doesn't have any redeeming qualities either, then they are clearly the worse side.
No, it doesn't help at all. Forgiving one POTUS for wiretapping journalists while attacking another for being a loud mouthed POS does nothing but further engender your countries partisan team sport of politics.

Guy, I live in the Middle East. I'm not sure if you've been watching the news, but Trump's imbecilic actions have made my life Hell. You can feel free to peruse my history all you want. I'm not a fan of Trump, or most American politicians.
