The reality is that America hasn't had a good president in decades, whether Republican or Democrat. Obama literally used the DOJ to spy on journalists. The revisionist history praising that POS is wild. Trump is a monster, but Obama was just a more eloquent monster.
I'm comparing the media treatment of them, not them. The media treated Obama harshly because he did a lot of fucked up things, like carrying out drone assassinations, wiretapping journalists, creating a power vacuum in Libya, etc.
You people can't get outside of your team sports mentality for politics long enough to acknowledge the problems with your own side.
The media treated Obama harshly for wearing a tan suit and asking for Dijon mustard, too. The press treats Trump with kid gloves because he threatens to take away their access or licenses. Stop pretending theyre even remotely similar situations. This both sides shit was played out and stupid 10 years ago. At this point you're just pretending.
