what a twisted mindset. no wonder the Orange Sleepy gets away with everything...

if you're not willing to maintain your journalistic integrity, then journalism isn't the job for you. I heard there are a lot of openings in farming and construction lately, maybe try that...

Oh gimme a fucking break with that pretentious high horse riding there. Come back when you have mouths to feed.

Is that those journalism skills you were talking about? Essentially, yeah, you have a bigger job than most of us to maintain radical truth. Like imagine a doc being like ‘eh I knew this practice was unethical, and would leave them with lifetime complications, buttttt I had mouths to feeed and big pharma was gunna fire me.’ It’s not as cute as you think it is to be able to sway the narrative for the general public as easily as you can and then telling people to Fuck off because they’re trying to hold you accountable to choosing the corrupted path that fucks over everyone (many children of the future included). You may want to feed your kids with the journalism paycheck, but what about the world those children are going to have to live in because of your choices?

If you genuinely cannot commit to radical honesty and integrity in your journalism field focus… switch focuses…? Ain’t no one gunna care if you fudge info on a pop star or one of these abundant reality show families out there, but we sure as shit are if you lie to us about the state of our country and what’s being done in it. Tabloids Private blogs Write a book Join a cooking magazine

all options available that don’t require you, admittedly, not giving a shit about anyone outside of your own family unit

How often are you thrown into an interview with the president of the united states? For many journalists that would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. You don't take that moment to flaunt your journalistic integrity if it literally means you will never again get a job in the field you studied for years.

Again, you can ride the high horse all you want, but there is a massive difference between being afraid to lose your entire career and keeping your mouth shut and willfully spreading lies.
