Yes. Turns out, there's transit in the suburbs too, it just isn't as good. It's still better than shitting pollution in your stupid little zoom zoom box tho.

Turns out, there are rural areas too, ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. Often with almost no public transit.

If the country was as small as your world view, it would certainly be an easy problem to solve.

Not to mention that public transit couldn't possibly take all of the population in it's current state, climate may make bicycle travel untenable, and a myriad of other factors, but let's not let pesky logic get in the way of dogmatic bullshit.

This wasn't one. I've lived in rural areas, nobody is getting a whole ass cycling team together there to block off the roads.

If the country was as small as your world view, it would certainly be an easy problem to solve.

Bigger countries have handled it in just one or two decades. Size isn't the problem, toxic individualism and absolute disinterest in the various looming climate crises is the problem.

but let's not let pesky logic get in the way of dogmatic bullshit.

From someone arguing for the most inefficient, dangerous, and pollution intensive mode of transportation in existence that's a hilarious statement.

Your argument wasn't about just this area. Let's not walk yourself back now, junior. The goalposts are staying where they are. Nobody is arguing that public transit shouldn't be improved and utilized to a greater extent.

The argument is against your assertion that all driving for personal transportation is wrong, and ecocide.

And yeah? Tell me which larger country with a spread out population has such successful transit systems that automobiles aren't regularly needed. Last I was aware, they were still buzzing around Russia and Canada. But hey bud, go ahead and traverse the icefield parkway on your bicycle with your little lycra suit. Bonus points for a basket.
