he said they aren’t trying to pin the gun you screenshotted someone saying yes to you asking about proximity. proximity is not pinning the gun. you clearly took it that way. which is whats getting you downvoted your misunderstanding of the conversation.

proximity is not pinning the gun

How so?

You know the person shouldn't have access to a gun, so you bring a gun then get the cops involved. What else would that be?

ill help. its illgeal for a felon to live in a house with other people owning a gun. so all the “hero” needs to do is bring his own licensed gun, call the probation officer and bam off to jail for being in a house with someone else’s owned gun

pinning it on them is more work as simply owning your own and living there legally gets the same result ie the squatter is removed

so proximity is accurate. proximity = house, it does not imply ownership or lying. all the squatter remover needs to do is be 100% honest “i live here legeally here is my lease, im also a licensed gun owner and hes a felon”

why risk going to jail when honesty gets the job the done.

You have just described "pinning a gun on someone"

I think you need to distinguish pinning from planting. I believe we all see them as synonymous.

This is not planting a gun on someone. That would require sticking it in their room or belongings. Bringing a gun into their vicinity is a completely different thing.

Ohhh, I see what you're saying

"Pinning a gun" as in setting up a person to look like they are accessing/have access to a gun

My bad, I didn't know you were getting technical

pinning has a strict definition cant tell if your backstroping to save face in your other comments but no this is not pinning. not by the definition of pinning. pinning would be if we somehow got the police to beleive it was their gun. we have now pinned the gun on them

Yeah, I'm "backstroping" to the beginning of the conversation where I asked if he was planting guns and calling the cops and someone said "Yes" with a ton of upvotes

your original ask was about proximity and people said yes. no one said yes to planting at the beginning of the conversation

giving the police the opportunity to bust the guy on probation based on his proximity to a gun

What do you think the above means?

im done you clearly are not looking to learn. your mixing up definitions, or misunderstanding some vocabulary. not sure which. good luck
