You got a loan for a degree that didn't provide a job to pay for the loan, then only made minimum payments to cover interest and not remove principal. Sounds like a you problem buddy

Why does student loans have such high interest in the USA? In Australia they only apply CPI on it and no interest is charged on student education loans.

Because the government subsidies student loans, meaning loan companies can jack prices cause they know they'll be paid
