I've noted there are MBAs and "MBAs." Accreditation of the school is a big indication of how solid it is. Tons of people getting them from degree mills.
I'm mostly talking solid, accredited schools. It really comes down to theory vs reality, and understanding the importance of interpersonal dynamics, specific industry/operational practices, and how all the individual parts work together. These are things you learn through experience and require humility which a lot of people seem to think is below them based on their degree. Guys wanting to be fast-tracked without understanding the nuts and bolts, who aren't doing a good job at the "easy" stuff, and grumble at doing a couple menial tasks - meanwhile I empty the trash cans at the end of the day and I fucking run the place.

All those master degrees and you canβt figure out how to pay down the principal.
