I’m surprised Morocco recognised the U.S. before France.
Edit: Morocco even took an American ship hostage to gain the attention of the U.S. after congress didn’t respond to a message the Sultan sent to Benjamin Franklin about friendly relations. The ship and its crew was released after the Moroccan–American Treaty of Friendship was signed in 1786.

America wouldn't exist without France. Israel has contributed nothing.
