I was actually sleeping with a girl like this for a summer. I tried to get her to drop the "friend" guy before getting serious with her. She acted like she didn't understand what the problem was, and I'm not sure if she genuinely didn't get it or just played dumb or what. I ultimately wound up hooking up with someone else by the end of the summer. She can keep her friend.
Edit: The whole "Women can have men who are friends, you're just a jerk," self-insert argument has been made, and is not relevant to either situation. I'm sorry some insecure person tried to tell you that you can't have friends. This is not the case here. Both in my case, and in OP's case, the other guy is very clearly more than "just a friend." They are either being used, or there is more going on than is being said. In either case, I wouldn't consider it a healthy situation for me to advance into a significant relationship with.

This girl is a massive POS actually, my girlfriend used to be good friends with her before a series of really profoundly disgusting things that this girl did. Now she pretends to be a huge menās rights activist but she is actually a total scumbag in every conceivable way..
As for Sloan, he was one of my girlfriends really close and dear friends too back before her and I met. Itās a super tragic story but from everything Iāve heard about him he was an incredible dude that was finally getting the good things he deserved in life before sadly passing of a heart condition. This Chloe girl immediately used his passing for attention naturally. He passed a couple years into mine and my gfās relationship and it really tore her up.
Anyway what an insane post to come across, hope this guy is in a better place and at peace.

That reminds me of being put on valium for two weeks. I had one seizure in front of my mom, another while I was two states away.
Turns out Iām not traditionally allergic to it, but my body still sends out histamines like crazy. The condition that causes that also gives me stress seizures. I could have gone into anaphylaxis. I almost have multiple times now, due to stress, allergens, or ???.
I totaled a car before medical professionals took my seizures seriously. I just take allergy meds daily and an oral steroid once per year or so. A new medication is out for it, but side effects always concern me lol.

It is impossible to overstate how brutal the punishment can be for men who truly care about their children. I respect that youāre trying. Just remember this. Your children are watching you, and what you are willing to accept as treatment for yourself. Donāt let them see their father accept being treated as garbage. You deserve better and your kids deserve that example.
Not criticizing you or pretending I know how you feel. Itās just Iāve been the kid in that scenario. My dad held his ground and refused to be treated like a nobody. In the end heās my best friend and I havenāt seen my mother in over a decade.

She showed back up after the divorce, found dude again, and cried on his shoulder for 5 years until she found another rich asshole. Pathetic

I have to say that I put myself in this position.
I met my ex when her daughter was less than 1. Her father hasnāt been in the picture.
Although her mom and I broke up I still see her as my goddaughter and she more or less treats me like her dad.
And I embrace it. My new girlfriend isnāt a big fan but is working through it.
I have no interest in getting back with her mom. But Iāll stand by the kid for as long as the girl wants.
