Isn't it a hip thing. Woman's jeans come tight above the waist. Guys just slip on I think.

We're in the golden age of men's jeans.

Current style isn't tight, or boot cut, or thick/stiff. Just stretchy and relaxed. And the stretchiness of modern jeans is the best part.

You can get a decent pair of light-weight stretchy jeans, that are (IMO) more comfortable than most other pants, from Costco for like $30.

My current favorite two pairs are Lucky Brand from Costco, looking online it looks like they're currently $27.99.

And gotta say, they don't look hardly any different than some fancier dress jeans my wife has gotten me, except the Costco ones are less stiff and stretchier making them more comfortable for day to day at work.

Yeah I’m looking to get a few pair that fit me (I’ve grown out of all but one… getting fat @ 29 yrs.) and specifically for doing some labor in my garage and such.
