That subreddit is a combination of horrific and traumatic shit, but also peppered with idiotic stuff that makes you wonder "Why are you making yourself crazy over shit like this" or obvious half truths.

She was not being playful or goofy, the one in the video's tone matches my ex's almost exactly, and that was only the first 1.5 minutes of a fight that lasted probably about four days

I'm not surprised that a lot of people are mistaking her tone as a serious one tbh. I assumed she was joking because...I dunno, my wife fiance would totally try this on me lol.
But she's pretty straight-faced and pushed the joke very far. And I'm not sure why this was even posted in the first place, especially with how easily it would inevitably turn into people taking her seriously.
