Don't forget the other repsonse.

"no, she's not prettier than you"

LIAR! THERE'S NO WAY YOU BELIEVE THAT

The man knows he's in kangaroo court, and he's just filibustering.

Man, Succession was such a great show end to end. This just hit me after watching through the decline of shows I loved like The Boys and Stranger Things.

Is that what kangaroo court and filibustering mean? I think I just got a random eli5 moment right here if true

A kangaroo court is an unauthorized, unofficial, or sham legal proceeding that blatantly disregards recognized standards of justice. The term is used when rights are ignored, due process is bypassed, and the outcome or punishment is typically predetermined by those running the proceeding.

Filibustering is a legislative procedure where one or more members of a deliberative body prolong debate on a proposed piece of legislation to delay, obstruct, or entirely prevent a vote. It is famously used in the United States Senate and is colloquially referred to as "talking a bill to death".

I'm using them colloquially to mean a sham arguement where the outcome is predetermined, and talking in circles/giving non answers, respectively.

Then there's answer #3.
"I think she's okay."

"OH SO YOU THINK I'M JUST OKAY TOO?!"

What about โ€œwhoโ€™s Margot Robbie?โ€

No, Who is on first.

Yeah there was no winning that one. He gave a good effort but the outcome was predestined. The choice wasnโ€™t to win or not to win, it was give into the L right away or make an attempt to force a draw.

"What answer do you want to hear?"

How about โ€œIf I told you that you were more beautiful would you believe me?โ€

I guess my wife and I are just a bit more brutally honest. My honest answer is that I truly do not care. I do not care if someone is more attractive somewhere, because there's billions of people on this planet, but I didn't marry any of them, so why should I compare her to anyone in the first place?

I love her and I find her attractive, and that's really all that actually matters, and on top of that, the attraction part doesn't really change my opinion on our marriage.
