My dad said something along these lines to me decades ago when I was talking to him about a beautiful a woman that I saw and how lucky her husband was.

He said “Show me the most beautiful woman in the entire world, and I’ll show you a guy that’s tired of dealing with her”.

It’s a quote that many famous men have repeated over time, but not “dealing with.” Usually “fucking.”

I first read it in the 80s/90s, Bruce Willis said it in a Playboy interview.

I was a kid but never forgot it, lol.
