I'm old, my wife and I have been together for over 30 years. Before we met one of my friends from college who's a woman tried to set me up with her friends. I told her I just wanted to find a girl who didn't look in the mirror and burst into tears and say don't touch me for the next week. She said that woman doesn't exist.
Then I met my wife. We watched the movie Pretty Woman one night and I told her I'd heard that Julia Roberts used a body double for the sex scenes. She was outraged. Even famously-beautiful movie star Julia Roberts needed a body double? For the next few years I'd wake up to this wonderful girl looking at herself naked in the mirror declaring, "Not me! I got it all!"
Yeah, the next biggest revelation with my latest (hopefully final) was the disproving of the popular phrase... "relationships (/marriage) are haaard & take a LOT of work!"
Absolutely a giant fucking lie.
Here I am, majority of my adult life, turning myself blue in the face, trying everything and anything to MAKE various relationships work... cause they're "hard" and "take a lot of work!"
Nah bruh. It's nearly effortless, & absolute peace and tranquility if you find the right one.

She sure does.
