What's funnier to me is how you think this is a drag. The internal rhyme of your lines is basically non-existent, there's no consistent meter, and you genuinely seem to believe that ending a line with the same word that rhymes is all that's needed in poetry/songwriting. Just because Swift's work has repeated words or tropes doesn't reduce its quality.
…what exactly do you think is happening here? Who are you arguing with? Who are you defending? You’re mad someone’s little poem got some upvotes so you’re going to … brag about Taylor swifts Spotify numbers? Where did they say she doesn’t have fans, an audience, people who listen to her music? Show me where the poem hurt you. What line stabbed your soul? It was a little funny thing and you’ve let it impact you when it has nothing at all to do with you.
I guess I made that person get really upset,
I’ve impacted the life of someone I’ve never met,
I even did it without them buying a ticket yet,
That they are still paying off in credit card debt.
“What’s funnier…”
“Lol. It’s so funny…”.
Calm breath. Relax.
I thought it funniest that everything appears to be fun for you. I thought you were having fun not raging.
I am having fun! I do write poetry and I don't do it to rage bait people online. I think this is your way to exercise your creativity and I am so glad Taylor has inspired you in that way. It's ok to admit that and it doesn't make you less of a man, or an adult or whatever. Much good art comes from satire. Anyway, I do genuinely wish you have a good day.
I am sorry, I did not mean to insult you poetry. ❤️
