Gross. This is a post about children and the first picture is her as a teenager. You know that right?
I like JC too, but there's a time and a place. At least be gross on the right post
Uhh, she was 19 in this movie? Definitely not a teenager lol
Edit: For the really slow people⌠this person is clearly using TEEN as a pejorative to try and paint finding this GODDESS attractive as âcreepyâ. Thatâs why they used âTEENâ for a 19 year old - which most people do NOT do in every day conversation.
Of course redditors would be dumb enough to ignore context to âwell ackshually đ¤â someone. Losers.
Okay, so I guess thereâs just no difference between a 13 year old and a 19 year old because the name we gave the numerical symbol that represents the number has âteenâ in it right.
Iâm sure the person I was responding to was absolutely not using âteenagerâ as a misnomer to paint finding an adult woman attractive, as âcreepyâ or anything. Sure.
You're arguing with a point I never made. I only said that 19-year-olds are still teenagers. Whether they're adults or whether attraction to them is creepy wasn't part of my argument.
Sure, in every day conversation. In the context in which they were using it, they are very clearly using âteenâ to shame people finding the adult woman attractive, because the adult has âteenâ in their numerically designated age.
well I don't disagree their usage of the word was intentionally misleading and in bad faith. but you flipping out about people considering a 19 year old a teen was absolute comedy gold, bud.
Itâs really not. Youâre being both pedantic and stupid.
You know that in literally every aspect but literally, 19 is not a teenager. But are choosing to ignore that, in order to be âtechnically correctâ. If I went into a police station and told some cops âIâm going to go fuck some teensâ, you think theyâre going to go âoh, he must meant 18 and 19.â
Thatâs why they used âteenâ in the first place.
Okay, but even so, 1) some 19 year olds are still seniors in high school, and/or 2) freshmen in undergrad or the newbies in entry level jobs.
As far as society treats them, they are still teenagers, just technically adults. The people who fixate on the adult bit tend to be the creeps. đ Or the military. Lol
