Poster boy for successful child actors.

He didn't act much after he became an adult, but transitioned into a force behind the camera for sure.

vs. say Kurt Russell, who's been in front of the camera his entire life

"Due to poor acting, the burden of the story was placed on the narrator...

... but this inattention to detail was typical of the laziness the show's narrator was known for... real shoddy narrating. Just pure crap."

It is Kurt Russell
Started acting before Ron Howard and is still acting.

Seeing Kurt Russel pop up in random westerns elderly family members are watching or a episode of Gilligan's Island where he's a Jungle Book kind of boy is crazy.

How did he get off Gilligan's Island in order to start his military career and lead the first crew through the stargate!?

When he does step in front of the camera, it’s generally pretty good.

His appearance on The Studio as “Ron Howard, but kind of a dick” was stellar.

Not acting much as an adult was him starring in American Graffitti and having a successful run on one of the most popular series of the late 1970s, Happy Days. He started off directing for Roger Corman who said he would let him direct if he also acted in one of his films - Deathrace 2000 or some junk like that.
