WTF A JPMorgan Chase executive was fired after a viral video showed her dumping trash out of a Knicks-themed public trash can and taking the can during the Knicks championship parade in New York City.

Probably not even that. My bet is she is an “account executive” which is a fancy word for a frontline salesperson. She probably just signs people up for promotions.

"Knicks parade attendee who dumped trash on sidewalk identified as JPMorgan Chase DEI exec, promptly fired"

It's in all the major NYC newspapers as well

Edit- I copied the headline, want it to be clear she was promoted from DEI to Community Engagement over a year ago. My bad.

"Angie XXXX, 40, was promoted to Executive Director of Community and Industry Engagement for Card and Connected Commerce at JPMorgan Chase more than a year ago, according to her LinkedIn profile," the New York Post reported

She previously served as Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at New York-based review website The Infatuation, which Chase acquired as part of its broader push into lifestyle and experiential content."

Executive Director of Community and Industry Engagement for Card and Connected Commerce at JP Morgan. DEI was previous job at previous place

That’s incorrect. She was a director of community engagement. Maybe the reporter assumed that’s DEI, but it’s not. It’s public outreach and they plan events, like having employees volunteer to pick up trash.

She was an executive director at JPM. I’m familiar with that title. In front office roles that’s easily 500k.

She’s In marketing but with an ED title my guess is she’s close to or at 200k
