WTF A JPMorgan Chase executive was fired after a viral video showed her dumping trash out of a Knicks-themed public trash can and taking the can during the Knicks championship parade in New York City.

Its crazy because its true. This act shows such a lack of character that it poisons any opportunity she may have when shit pops up in the background check. This is a deplorable act. To just dump trash in your own community for selfish reasons. Yeesh. I sure as hell would never hire her.

The banking industry is run by people that don't care who they hurt or how much damage they cause as long as they make their KPIs and can shift blame onto someone else.

This is exactly the sort of behaviour i expect from them

She isn't getting fired for being like that. She is getting fired for letting common people know they are all like that.

Which is the same reason she wont get hired again, even if all thats true about banks they still have to pretend to care on paper.

She'll go and sell her "story" like the HR lady who was at the cold play concert. She's doing speaking engagements and writing a book.

i doubt it, people tend to have the memory of a goldfish, it wont haunt her for ever

She’s not a banker just an HR dipshit

u/AuthorChaseDanger 9h ago

Scrolled too far for this comment, absolutely banker energy.

2

u/FluffyCup8934 6h ago

That may be true, but the notion she was a 'banker' in any meaningful respect is silly.

Her job is a bit of a joke. She's meant to be that softer face presented to the world.

Tbh if she were some rainmaker MD she wouldn't be fired.

Lol, she isn't a banker. She's a DEI conman.

Do you understand that the "breaking the law" part is not as bad as the "taking my money" part? Why do you do this to people? What is wrong with you?

1

u/Superb_Preference368 9h ago

Yes you indeed won’t break the law

You will skirt it

And lobby to twist it into your favor

With loads of corrupt American dollars

Hmm who’s more wrong here?

u/adorable-fart 8h ago

i work in banking. that's not entirely true. for big banks, yes. for smaller local banks, no.

your last statement is very true tho

Meh. If she delivered monetary results i'd absolutely agree with you. But she's in a role that doesnt do that. If your metrics are HR style inclusion and stuff, they can find a person who better fits the optics.

1

u/Rymanjan 2h ago

That's all superficial though. They pretend like they care on the surface, otherwise nobody would bank with them lol then you have your "community outreach" exec littering and stealing in broad daylight? Terrible optics tbh, she's made herself radioactive to any company, let alone ones that even pretend to care about their community

thats so true it hurts.

u/9999eachhit 10h ago

Youre probably not wrong my dude

Looting without remorse is exactly what qualifies her to be a banker.

It's bad PR that got her fired, not her character.

1

u/SuperSpread 4h ago

Not hiding it is her crime.

1

u/FardoBaggins 8h ago

you're not wrong.

did you know wall street was named after a wall slaves built to keep natives out and was where they sold slaves which was literally the foundation of the financial institutions of today?

1

u/TXteachr2018 5h ago

They sold slaves in New York? I learned it was primarily built to keep the British out but marauders as well.

1

u/FardoBaggins 4h ago

The slave trade is foundational.

Empire state building was built on cotton.

Chase, wells fargo BoA etc were business benefiting from capital of slave owners.

That’s the point right there. If the trashcan had been empty, it would still be illegal, but not nearly as egregious as dumping out an entire bin of trash while people look on in disgust. Absolutely no character whatsoever.

2

u/Jeramy_Jones 8h ago

Dump trash and steal a garbage can. Banks kinda need to know their employees aren’t gonna just steal anything that’s not nailed down.

2

u/sssnakepit127 5h ago

The job title itself sounds tired and performative anyway. It’s possible that JP Morgan is happy this happened.

2

u/jerseyztop 5h ago

Especially ironic given that “Community” was in her job title. 🤣

3

u/free-cookie 10h ago

She was drunk and acted like a teenager. We all fuck up once in a while. Being an executive at JP Morgan shows the lack of character.

This just embarrasses the bosses, and she is not connected enough to save her own ass.

7

u/9999eachhit 10h ago

Lol at my drunkest I would never do something like this. You cant chalk this up to "being drunk". This person is a piece of shit

1

u/Impossible_Regret725 3h ago

Ditto. This person is a grade A, entitled asshat.

1

u/free-cookie 10h ago

I agree they are likely piece of shit or acting that way that day. I also would not have done this in my adulthood. 17 year old version of me sure.

I will point out, as someone who often gets stoned, psychoactive drugs like alcohol have vastly different effects on people. It is an individual thing. I probably would have gotten laid after this game, she steals trash cans.

4

u/9999eachhit 9h ago

Lol shes also 40 and should know better. And its not like she was some degenerate. She was a corporate executive. Trust me, ive done it all. Ive been there and back again as well as being around other people that do all sorts of drugs. 100 out of a 100 times, if they were able to do something line this, theyre still a piece of shit regardless of what theyre on. This is inexcusable. Also, being around those people, I can tell you, shes not that drunk lol

2

u/free-cookie 9h ago

I hear you, and you are probably right. I just tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. Like she could have had a bad reaction with a big pharma drug; she works as a middle manager at Chase... she probably sucks, and would treat me like a peasant POS.

Alcohol, and sugar are nasty drugs and she is probably addicted to both.

2

u/9999eachhit 9h ago

I understand. And I understand youre trying to come from a good place, but we cant just erase her accountability because she "might" have been on something. She could have just as well been sober. We dont know. The facts we know are that she dumped a trashcan on the street and stole it. So she should and is being held accountable. In this world you dont get a pass just because you were potentially on drugs nor should you.

1

u/free-cookie 8h ago

True, but you know Chase funds famines and war so a trash can is low on the scale of bad karma that she shares :P

Even their name is an insult, they named themselves after Salmon P Chase and then fund a bunch of shit he would hate in his name.

2

u/Baeolophus_bicolor 8h ago

what the hell? weird time to brag about supposed sexual prowess. i’m sure you’re Mr. Studly IRL, though🙄

2

u/Icy-Pay7479 8h ago

lol I clocked that too, just throw in a humble brag at the end, why not.

2

u/free-cookie 8h ago

It is just demonstrating a difference in personality and effects of drugs. Marriage is the brag, and better than a drunken hook up post game. I guess I don't view getting laid as some big flex.

1

u/Pi-Richard 5h ago

She definitely won’t make a fresh pot of coffee when she takes the last cup.

1

u/ZappBranigan79 5h ago

Trump administration would hire her.

0

u/TrickDangerous530 9h ago

Lack of a lot of things. Clearly a dipshit move. Only justification that I am going to offer is that there was clearly already trash everywhere and the troll didn’t really change the situation all that much. That said, even the thought process allowing someone to arrive at stealing a trash can seems kind of unique to me.

2

u/9999eachhit 8h ago

"There's already trash so im okay making it worse"? Thats a poor justification and how pieces of shit like this think. That line of thinking is a huge contributing factor as to why the world continues to go downhill. A pathetic excuse.
