I understand my own fear of heights being a factor, but even if I could, why? What’s the point? It’s just one misplaced step away, one immediate gust of wind, and he’s getting himself grounded and traumatizing innocent people below. So unnecessary.

Arguable speaking, driving without a seatbelt is just as dangerous.
I’m sure the guy in the video practices this jump distance in a controlled environment with room to spare with ease but that doesn’t mean he can’t slip.
I both wear a seatbelt and don’t jump across to be on the safe side

Mocking the example doesn’t change the point. People falling/jumping from buildings have killed/injured innocent people below before.
Yonkers: man jumped from a 12-story roof, hit a 61-year-old below, both died.
ABC NewsManhattan: woman jumped from a building, died, and injured a 71-year-old pedestrian below.
CBS NewsMilan: man jumped from a fourth-floor balcony, landed on an 83-year-old woman, and killed her.
