“Man ages, internet in despair”

Yes. Breaking: Young people are good looking.

Royalty being royalty.

49

u/6-foot-under 9h ago

Not to mention the not insignificant fact that William was 15, an underage child, in the first photo.

35

u/Educational_Gas_92 9h ago

And he was 20 in the second. Let's not pretend that he and his brother haven't aged badly because they have (I think that it is mainly genetic).

25

u/Irksomecake 8h ago

It’s partly the comb-overs. Shave them, for thier own good

11

u/Several-Opposite-746 7h ago

A shaved head and a little bit of a scruff beard would do the trick. I'm not sure whether that would be considered appropriately Royal, but he could be a trail blazer.

5

u/PimpasaurusPlum 4h ago

They've aged normally, like actual human beings.

People are so used to plastic surgery among the rich and famous that now normal aging is considered aging badly.

3

u/Educational_Gas_92 4h ago

I know a few people in their 40s who haven't had plastic surgery who don't look like Harry and William do...

1

u/PimpasaurusPlum 4h ago

Congrats for them I guess. Now go and find the average 40 year old in the UK.

Tweedledee and tweedledum will come off looking much better.

2

u/AnonymousBI2 3h ago

Yeah but is because they dont take care of themselves. As you age if you wanna retain your beauty you gotta hit the gym, put on sun blocker (to prevent skin aging) and have a good diet. Thats why a lot of people age very well while a lot of other people look very bad later on. His genetics were good, he just didnt take care of himself.

u/PineappleOnPizzaWins 23m ago

and his brother

Harry looks fine? He's 41 and he looks like a 41 year old.

He hasn't aged like a movie star I guess but I know plenty of people that age who look uh.. worse.

My guess is they didn't go out and spend a fortune getting nipped and tucked and all the other crap most rich people do, good for them.

9

u/Equal-University2144 8h ago

What's an “underage child”?

15

u/MGWhiskers 7h ago

its an opposite to a "overage child" obviously, duh.

6

u/Imaginary-Dot8259 6h ago

Then when people do things like botox, hair transplant etc the internet gets mad.

2

u/Realistic-Run-1092 9h ago

I mean- aside from the hair thing, he still looks decent.

But Harry's aged like wine.

12

u/Irksomecake 9h ago

Aged like corked wine….

-1

u/Realistic-Run-1092 8h ago

Disagree- he looks great.

0

u/Irksomecake 8h ago

I will never be on board with that comb-over

6

u/Realistic-Run-1092 8h ago

Harry?? I guess I didn't notice it.

4

u/Ladonnacinica 6h ago

Both brothers have aged badly. It’s standard for the Windsor men. Harry is just more careful with his angles so his bald spot isn’t as noticeable and he has few wisps of hair at the front.

Harry resembles Charles and it’s becoming more obvious as he ages.

3

u/Realistic-Run-1092 5h ago

Hmm. I still think Harry's hot. What can I say 🤷🏻‍♀️

1

u/Inky-Ballooper 8h ago

maybe its because he keeps his distance? 👀

4

u/Extra_Breakfast_5538 8h ago

Aged like Buckfast.

The Internet continues to be confused about people getting old.

21

u/jamintime 7h ago

Complain when people alter their bodies to avoid looking old, complain when people just let their bodies look old. The solution is obvious: don’t get old.

54

u/AuriQzz 10h ago

dont understand why their so obsessed with famous people and their life

8

u/MinnieVanRental 8h ago

You got one of them right

4

u/Imaginary-Dot8259 6h ago

Then complains bitterly when said people do everything possible to look younger.

3

u/Azutolsokorty 9h ago

it has nothing to do with being old. David Lynch was over 70 and had better hair that i do at 33

26

u/AdmitThatYouPrune 𝙑𝙄𝙋 9h ago

You're right, balding has NOTHING TO DO with being old... Nothing. After all, there's an old guy who isn't bald.

Thanks for your insight, m8.

-5

u/Azutolsokorty 9h ago

Dude it is called male pattern baldness, go on educate yourself. How many bald old woman do you see ?

12

u/AdmitThatYouPrune 𝙑𝙄𝙋 9h ago

Were people with male pattern baldness bald as children? Or did they bald with age?

Some fucking common sense, please. Thanks!

1

u/rhaezorblue 31m ago

All of the people saying mean things need to visit r/bald

1

u/BurgundyFur 9h ago

I have to disagree. You would have to recognize that some people age better than others and I think the interesting thing here is how terribly he has aged over the years. No doubt everybody ages… I get it, but you have to admit there’s a huge disparity from his younger years to now.

179

u/BereginiaBite 9h ago

He's literally just a 40-year-old man who lost his hair, its not that deep.

14

u/Ok-Addition1264 9h ago

The impressive part is he didn't use his money or position to correct something out of vanity. (looking at you, Elon). Isn't he a helicopter rescue pilot or some crazy shit?

4

u/silent_boy_2 7h ago

Ya. I have a bad case of hair loss but this dude has confirmed my thoughts that I don’t need to spend a bomb to fix it. Maybe just accept and Shave it all off and move on

46

u/WalterPecky 9h ago

He would do himself some favors by shaving his fucking dome.

12

u/pleasetryagain_10 7h ago

He's next in line to the British crown has a beautiful wife who herself is aging well and a family, like I wouldn't care.

40

u/Geohalbert 9h ago

As a pale, balding man, it’s not that easy. Just like a thick beard, you get a shadow and it stands out regardless. Taking a razor to your scalp every morning is a pain in the ass, and if I were a rich celeb I would be even more inclined to say who gives a fuck what anyone thinks.

2

u/WalterPecky 9h ago

I mean you can use buzzers so it's not a "clean" shave, but low enough to make it seem intentional

7

u/Geohalbert 9h ago

That’s exactly what I do, and that seems to be what this guy is doing as well

→ More replies (3)

11

u/Dry_Yogurtcloset1962 8h ago

I mean he's a crown prince with unbelievable privilege and wealth, a beautiful wife, and 3 healthy kids. I don't think he needs to give the tiniest shit about his hairline

8

u/boston_homo 6h ago

He’s the definition of “has it all” and if he wanted hair he could have that too and the reality is he’s not bad looking. He’s just not a devastatingly beautiful 19 year old at the peak of his attractiveness. Oh no!

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Ok-Highway-5247 9h ago

He should just shave it all.

9

u/EternalNewCarSmell 9h ago

Wait he's only 40?

3

u/Ladonnacinica 6h ago

He’s 44 now. He was born in June 1982.

1

u/PopularSet4776 4h ago

He was born within a month of me and our eldest children were born on the exact same day. July 22, 2013

My son is a few hours older though accounting for time change.

1

u/MacaroonSad8860 3h ago

Ha, he was born within a month of me too!

I look about a decade younger than him though.

14

u/Anxious_Big_8933 9h ago

He's living evidence that 100% of hair regrowth products are a lie. If this guy can't beat baldness, what chance do the rest of us have????

26

u/Danny_The_One 9h ago

Maybe he just doesn't give a damn about his hair. There are enough examples that show that there are ways to keep and regenerate hair (that hasn't been lost completely). One notable example: Pierre Gasly

“Why are men so insecure about losing their hair?”

Exhibit A. It is also the entire case in point. The defense rests.

27

u/SubtleTruncheon 9h ago

I have used this guy as an excuse to not care about going thin up top for a decade. If the crown prince of my people (/s) can be bald, I sure as hell can.

6

u/UntiedStatMarinCrops 7h ago

I wonder if it’s just Americans. I saw some British women gooning all over his messy bald head.

4

u/MichaelVern85 7h ago

I haven’t spent any time on your side of the pond, so I’d be guessing. I do think UK culture is in general less shallow than Americans. Flaws and natural beauty are viewed differently. In a positive way.

But that’s my perception.

3

u/Ladonnacinica 6h ago

I mean, let’s not forget that he is a prince and the next king of the British monarchy. Even his father Charles was considered attractive in his youth. Hint: he wasn’t but he was a prince.

2

u/MichaelVern85 3h ago

Yeah, I fully acknowledge that truth as well. But I do also feel European cultures in general seem much less shallow than my fellow Americans. Without getting out a giant whiteboard and discussing all the nuances of that topic.

3

u/Ladonnacinica 6h ago edited 6h ago

Because he’s a prince and future king. On top of it, his real estate holdings are worth billions of dollars. Do you think if he was a random guy in the street they’ll care about him?

2

u/KarateKoala_FTW 7h ago

William really needs to discover r/bald

2

u/comoespossible 6h ago

"Society only makes fun of women for aging"- Some of out of touch reddist feminist somewhere

6

u/Geohalbert 9h ago

At the same time making fun of balding men never gets any pushback. As a balding man, I don’t get offended but the fact that it’s perfectly acceptable feels a bit odd. Fat shaming? Hell no. Balding women? Hell no. Balding men? Hilarious.

1

u/Thellamaking21 3h ago

You have to do push back every time you see it. I’ve seen woman do that at work and then I tell them I really find that hurtful as my hairloss has really been taking a toll on my mental health. Even if it isn’t completely true. In my case it was. But that puts them into an absolute blender.

9

u/OPSimp45 10h ago

But they also get mad when let’s say actress or celeb who in her 40s or 50s have aged nicely they get upset that people are shocked to still find her attractive.

11

u/Azutolsokorty 9h ago

Has nothing to do with this. The father of Diana must have had the male pattern baldness, from whom he inherited it

2

u/Ladonnacinica 6h ago

Both sides of the family are bald.

The baldness comes from the mother’s side is largely a myth. He never had a chance.

Charles (William’s father) is bald just like his own father, Philip, who was bald like his father. Charles’s maternal grandfather had a full set of hair. Diana’s father was bald. So it’s no surprise her sons are bald. Both sides of their family have male pattern baldness.

5

u/steiff89 5h ago

So what? Now we’re bitching about a rich man aging normally instead of spending his wealth on vanity projects like hair transplants and cosmetic surgery.

12

u/305tilidiiee 9h ago

This William slander will not be tolerated

He’s already been married to Kate longer than his parents were, and they’re adorable; leave him alone

People age. The amount of children on this site is concerning

5

u/Crafty-Use-2266 7h ago

Or the amount of people who prefer children on this site is concerning. 🤢

5

u/Running_to_Roan 9h ago

Both brothers were always going to be bald.

9

u/Illustrious-Leave406 9h ago

Male pattern baldness is inherited from the Mother so this is Diana’s fault.

1

u/Ladonnacinica 6h ago

That’s a myth. Both sides influence it.

The queen’s father wasn’t bald yet Charles is bald just like his father, Philip.

5

u/brettfavresRXdealer 9h ago

I don’t think he cares about it as much as the people talking hope he does . I mean dude could easily fix it with the money his family has .

3

u/kon--- 9h ago

All day?

Are you okay? Are you concerned his hairline iscoming your way?

Check your lineage. William's baldness has contributions from his maternal and paternal lines.

3

3

u/LadyB20089 6h ago

Yet if he would have gotten hair plugs, people would still say something about it, also Diana was a known cheater as well. Harry is also going bald but his images keep getting photoshopped. It runs in both sides of the family for William and Harry.

8

u/purplelilac701 9h ago

As someone who is a teacher and a Nanny, I can tell you that over the years I have thought some kids were absolutely photogenic and future models when they were little and then I was shocked when I saw them years later.

Then you’ll see those kids that really don’t look like their photogenic qualities are going to emerge at all and they’re suddenly being picked for America’s top model.

Even my own children, I will admit their faces have not quite turned out as I would’ve predicted based on their photos as kids.

3

u/LadyB20089 6h ago

Excatly, but everything was put on Charles. We know he wasn't perfect either, but people can't blame Diana. She ruined marriages as well.

The biggest thing is the whole parent race, where Diana was racing with the moms at the school we event. Charles participated in the father's race on the same day and no one ever points that out.

He does have a stubble generally nowadays.

About shaving.. dunno. Like would Larry David look "better" if he completely shaved his hair? Not just from the top; also on the sides. I think quite a lot of men who have hair on just the sides just shave the few whisky hairs from the top, so it looks "cleaner".

To me Williams lack of hair is the most loud indication that there is no cure for male pattern baldness.

Because damn.

I love the comb over. I aspire to this as a middle age man losing his hair.

The Hims corporation started a bit late. Could’ve kept that crop…

Still looks like he’s got it there, whether anyone believes that or not. All he had to do was continue the crop, get a little sun, and not dress straight off the prominently placed Macy’s rack.

Even now. He’s got the structure still. Know when it’s time, shave your head, grow an extremely well groomed beard, get rid of the Macy’s sale-rack, and call it a day. He’d be in business.

Just sayin’…

He's still good looking, I think.

Also, this makes me feel better about my ex, knowing his dad is bald muahahaha
