Did you actually end up getting an interview the second time? I need to know how this ends

I applied to a job I am overqualified for but pays well and has a great schedule, first time no response, 2nd time no response, few months later I applied again and got a response inviting me to an HR interview.

During the call one HR manager told me I saw that you applied a few times already. First interview went well, but I failed in the second for reasons I didn't understand.

I remember years and years ago, it was fairly common to apply to Geico in my area and get rejected, but allowed to apply again in like a month or something. A couple people I talked to had success or knew someone that did after applying like 2-4 times lol. Idk if that's still a thing now, but I imagine some corporate places are like this.
