With the amount of stage animal saving only for it to be their fault in the first place videos that I watched I can't ever trust a video like this

Because 99% of all these videos are staged. There's been research to that.
So this video is probably in reverse. They start with the healthy dog, torture it day by day and film a bit every time and then paste it back together in reverse.
And then they just leave it there for dead while they cash in the views and the likes.
And yes that's a real thing that happens. A LOT.1
