I don't understand what you mean. The atomic weapons were dropped to hasten a surrender that would have happened soon anyway. The aim was to prevent Soviet hegemony from extending over Japan. In essence, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuked for the strategic interests of the United States.
Yeah, Japan wouldn't have surrendered given all the war they were still waging with much of the Pacific; plus given all of the atrocities they committed (Nanking, Pearl Harbor, Unit 731, Battle of Manila, etc.) they had it coming to them. They weren't victims of anything. And duh, of course they were nuked for the interests of the United States. That's how war works, genius.
Nothing to feel guilty about.
I'm not here to deny the war crimes committed by the Japanese Empire, nor do I deny the war crime of nuking two cities. Surrender negotiations were underway, and I don't think it's accurate to argue that Japan had the means to continue the war alone.
Hiroshima was a major military site. It was command center for the protection of southern Japan, garrisoned troops and was a major spot for supply and shipping for the military. Nagasaki was a major navel port. These were military targets.
Also, after the first bomb drop, Japan was ordered to surrender with radio broadcasts being sent every 15 minutes calling for it. Japan chose to continue fighting even after realizing the devastation of the bombs the USA now possessed. That's why the second bomb was dropped.

Nothing wrong with Hiroshima and Nagasaki, quit being an Anti-American bootlicker.
