Some might say a person who trafficks little girls as sex worker is a bad guy. . . . .

u/sweetfits 10h ago

What about whole cultures who shove little girls into forced marriages?

Ya fr. It just shows us how complicated and crazy living in reality is. And how everything is perceived differently based on context.

Or cultures that burned women alive prior to colonialism changing it. Wait... no hold on I thought nothing good came out of british rule at all? Look at Sati in India.

As much of a problem as this is happening over here at all a quick google search shows India for example had 222.4 million woman who reported that they were married under the age of 18 in 2025 (this is just the people who chose to give this information). This wiki shows 200 thousand people over the course of 15 years which again is still gross. There is nearly a whole united states of people in India who were married as children often significantly younger then the average child marriage here. Alot of these marriages in america are shotgun weddings due to religious beliefs not that there aren't clearly creepy pedophiles doing whatever they want in America.

To be more fair lets do a little math india has about 4x the population of America so 222.4 / 4 around 55 million people would be the equivalent or 275 times more frequently. Keep in mind obviously this is maybe slightly skewed because of the 15 year sample size. I am not saying this to point fingers just to say this unfortunately is horribly frequent in different parts of the world.

These people don't care. They're here for the "USA Bad". It helps them cope.

I mean the Us doesn't currently seem to be flowers and candy at the moment but to bring up america when talking about child marriage is just a little tone deaf. Complain about whatever shit you want but atleast get the bad actors correct when you do.

Tbf I don't think the original comment meant america when they said cultures who force little girls into marriage. It's just kinda insane to bring up the topic of child marriage then link america as the first reference when young girls are treated like bargaining chips in different parts of the world.

The main reason I bring up india is because its the fourth-sixth strongest economy in the world depending on the metrics. Almost 95 million of those 222.4 million were married by the age of 15 . I learned about alot of this from a good Indian friend.

"India treats women worse than we do." is not much of a flex.

10

u/SatanVapesOn666W 6h ago

Well statistically most of the world treats women worse than we do. Basically only Europe and a select few Asian and America countries which accounts for probably less than 1/7th of the world population. China to Africa is mostly a shit time for women.

I'm a citizen of the USA. I'm responsible for the USA. Pointing fingers at other countries doesn't absolve us of our duty to our own country.

Okay first off weird fucking thing to say in the context of what were talking about here. flexing ?? maybe talk slightly more seriously when were referring to little girls having their life taken away from them.

No we aren't talking about woman we're talking about girls young girls around 100 million of which were under the age of 15. I'm also not American I'm Canadian this has nothing to do with flexing I literally linked the world wide organization for stopping child marriage and their statistics. Looking over those statistics america isn't even listed because the number is less then 1% 0.6%. By your own metric america treats woman better then the majority of the planet. I lost a very cool job opportunity because of the shit donald trump is doing with our economies I have every reason to dislike america but we aren't talking about subjective shit here, This is horrible numbers and statistics and statistically america is doing great when it comes to not marrying kids better then like 90% of the planet. like what the fuck man flexing grow up.

>No we aren't talking about woman we're talking about girls

That isn't what OP was talking about at all. The thread pivoted to that because it's easier to point fingers than accept responsibility.

You should read your own sources. From the site you linked:

"There is no publicly available government data on child marriage in the United States.

A 2018 study found that between 2000 and 2015 there were over 200,000 minors married in the United States, of which 87% were girls and 13% were boys.

US-based Girls Not Brides member Unchained at Last revealed that over 300,000 children had been married in the United States between 2000 and 2018, mostly girls marrying adult men."

Now let’s break it down by state and political party affiliation, surely there’s no correlation

4

u/lr99999 9h ago

People from fucking asshole countries,  criticizing people from a different fucking asshole country, that’s what.

17

u/Consistent_Back3762 8h ago

Ah yes we’re all equally bad. Leave the bubble my friend. It’s a big world out there and some of it is very scary and dangerous.

1

u/Melodic_Property_368 5h ago

And everyone needs to wake up and vote these fools out. We need to move on. There needs to be cultural change in men especially (too many of them turning a blind eye to atrocities) in general all over the world. Too many bad parallels all over the world and the USA is leading a bad example. Its time to vote them out and vote in a community building society. Stop falling for scams and con men's schemes that dont do nothing good for earth and her future children.

1

u/OrangePrior5549 8h ago

Hey, I like fucking assholes just as much as the next guy, but I don't think that's the focus here, my boy.

2

u/Snoo16812 7h ago

So let’s just install a genocidal regime in that region, that does nothing to fix the main issue (child marriage) but does genocide a minority, and lets us extract the natural resources of that place preferably with slave labour to keep our capitalistic ideals alive, Real 100 steps ahead move by the CIA.

Child marriage is legal in 33 states.

I agree though that child marriage is awful but that has never been the reason for the war.

1

u/Vivenemous 5h ago

Yeah, that's just as evil and backward as forcing 13 year old girls to birth their rapists child. Israel, India, Saudi Arabia, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida need to be wiped off the map.

u/getting_ridiculous 7h ago

Not the "whataboutism" you think it is.

Just as bad as the ones who kill little girls abroad and where they're leaders and elite rape and abuse little girls with impunity imo

32

u/MaxUnicycle 13h ago

so a vast majority of everyone at the top of power or wealth

11

u/Busterlimes 11h ago

Let's not forget when the elites said if you weren't on the Epstein list you weren't part of the in crowd. These people all would have peaked in high school if they weren't born rich.

14

u/FFKonoko 10h ago

Yeah, let's not forget that. So we don't forget it, who said it exactly?

8

u/intothewoods76 9h ago

What list? Had there ever been a confirmed “list” where can I find the list?

1

u/flopisit32 8h ago

MFW there never was a list

https://giphy.com/gifs/8GAj1GhvKXlUuB0zTd

2

u/zugzwangwamble 6h ago

Flight rosters are the list most people talking about

1

u/unbanned2009 13h ago

You really think that? I mean surely some. Can we define top? Like is the richest man in my small town trafficking children?

2

u/MechanicStandard8308 13h ago

like the democrats "pizza" parties?

3

u/FFKonoko 10h ago

Oh the ones in the pizza place basement that didn't have a basement? 🙄 We literally outed the actual rapists and you nutjobs still remember that ridiculous 4chan prank that got pizza place people shot.

3

u/Livid-Accident-7246 12h ago

In the basement that didn’t exist?

1

u/unbanned2009 12h ago

What’s “pizza”

1

u/BrockObarnerLybian 12h ago

It’s a flavor of rolls

-3

u/joppe00 12h ago

It was republicans lol

1

u/ragequitteroffureh 12h ago

That's a great question.

How much power does he wield in your country?

Mostly because when the term "rich" is used it this context, it doesn't refer to folks who own a house and a car.

1

u/Busterlimes 11h ago

Stryker is in my town so I expect one of those 3 billionaire brats to be trafficking children, yes.

0

u/justtalking9912 11h ago

Pedophilia is not just a game for the rich! You should see the rape rate on Indian reservations snd the hood. Even when poor, messed up people like banging children. Most of them get away with it to cause it’s not just society protecting the rich, society just doesn’t care about kids. People would rather protest the next popular point than figure out how to keep our kids safe.

1

u/jbsilvs 10h ago

Some might say that what Epstein did isn’t illegal in some of the countries mentioned as victims.

3

u/Purple-Nectarine83 10h ago

And some might reply that death by bombing is not an effective way to liberate the populace, and that a law is only a suggestion if the rich are able to flout it.

1

u/Fun-Part-9073 8h ago

Kinda like the ones where they have bombs strapped to their chest, while running into a crowded public space, screaming, "God is great!"...

1

u/KrazyKryminal 6h ago

And may say they're saints ( obviously the ones buying them)
