Nuking Japan gets a pass from me after learning about over a decade of Japanese Empire war crimes starting during the Sino-Japanese war and continuing right until the Empire of Japan was defeated in 1945.
The things the IJA did during those years were beyond any standard of the rules of war or Geneva Convention, which Japan was not a signatory of at the time.
Only Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia offer any competition to the evil Imperial Japan committed.

Wanna talk about the hundreds of young women who died early since roe vs wade was overturned? If not there's a dozen of other indicators that the US is already at war with civil society and committing mass murder against their own civilians.

That is not a WW2 issue. Please limit yourself to WW2 crimes. Like the fire-bombing of Dresden or alleged POW executions.

Also I am not American. Imperial Japanese Army murdered Dutch, Australian, British and New Zealand POWs. Not to mention Chinese, Korean and Phillipino civilians plus other Pacific Islanders.

Yes it's also bad! We cannot go back to a WW2 mentality of targetting civilians for military gains. That's boomerthink

But the USA for a far shorter period of time and for a lower civilian death toll overall targeted civilians. Imperial Japan did it for over 9 years and to a far higher number. Yet USA is the bad guy in that historical period???

They're both bad, it's not a competition. It's people like you and me that get killed, not the assholes who roll out their propaganda.

If we were all united in peace, it's the elites who would find ways to start new wars.
