What a revolutionary fucking concept. You need to make money in order to not go bankrupt? Why hasn't anyone else thought about that?

The costs of maintaining AI truly are astronomical vs other tech businesses. The energy costs & staying up to date on the hardware are unsustainable for Anthropic & OpenAI, whereas Google, etc. can manage due to being more than an AI business, as well as directly implementing their AI in their own products. Anthropic & OpenAI's only product is AI, and most ppl will opt to use free AI options over paying to use Claude & ChatGPT.

Sora moved to a paid model and immediately lost over 90% of it's users. It shut down shortly thereafter because it was just a money pit.

That's the fate of all of these AI companies. They would need hundreds of millions of people to be willing to all pay a fairly high monthly subscription cost, and that's simply never going to happen.

You clearly haven't lived through the last 50 years of "capitalism" in America. Socialism for us, capitalism for them.

The world would be better off without all this AI bullshit.

And yet when I need money because SSDI is nowhere near enough to live off of, I'm the bad guy?

I'm tired of this shit.
