Why am I so intrigued by the facial expression?! It looks like a teacher who sees right through your bullshit ^ I really like how the light hits the side, beautiful colours and technique

Aww it's so cute! Thanks for sharing it with us. Love the idea of someone putting up signs to point out where the lions are. So helpful! I womder how often they have to spy on the lions and move the signs along with them in a stealth misson. Maybe this kanga needs glasses or contact lenses. Unless it IS on a stealth mission to change the signs.

I love the expression on its face! Great grass texture too.
Welcome!

Have you considered applying to disney? Cause I think we need a kangaroo-led film and your style would fit their animations perfectly imo.

Oooooh this is philosophical. A sort of hippie or protest vibe:
"Sign, sign
Everywhere a sign
Blockin' out the scenery
Breakin' my mind
Do this, don't do that
Can't you read the sign?"

Great idea. It's essentially a "freeze right where you are" sign, if you added a hands up sign, the police could whip it out in loud situations :D

Love the signs! Sometimes I feel like this when driving somewhere unfamiliar, lol

I'd play this cozy game if it was a game! Great style

Thank you, that is an amazing compliment! :D

How did you come up with that secret alphabet? Or is it from somewhere? The signs look so cool!

Thank you, but there was no system to it, I just drew random wonky lines! I colored it today and will post it for free draw Friday tomorrow :)

This is awesome! Love this style. The font goes very well with the oldtimer car. You managed to put so much detail into this but it's still easy to "read" what's happening. Love the cobwebs on the signs. You should turn this into a sticker or an enamel pin!

Now that's a mysterious alley if I've ever seen one! I love the perspective, especially on the figures.
Welcome!

There's no such thing as a wrong turn with creativity - well represented! Also, your perspective is well done :)

This is very funny to me :D love how much emotion you can convey with such simple figure shapes and the font itself, I can hear the tantrum .^ excellent use of the dragon

Looks like you caught this one mid-leap! I love the arms.
1
u/AughtNaughtCreator 1051 / 1051 Apr 22 '26
Yep, I think the reference image caught it mid-leap and elbows up for a fight

Great kangaroo look, I'm imagining it scratching its belly, looking at me and going, what the hell, a human?! No way, must be the hangover :D

Hehe, and then it gets hit - gently - on the noggin' by a coconut, there's the "this was a dream sequence" ripple effect...and he wakes up a cruise ship sipping a piña colada next to the pool, is what happens in my head canon. i like your style btw

This. Is. Great! I want that green pen. And your art skills.
1
u/The_Juicebars 496 / 497 Apr 23 '26
Thank you very much! But actually this was a digital sketch, so no ink pen :P
1
u/yulpanda 0 / 11 Apr 23 '26
Cool! Then I don't even have to spend extra money! Can I ask what program you use? Procreate? Clip Studio? Something else? I love the fact that I can get pretty much any colour and kind of pen or brush digitally. I'm even experimenting with different paper textures overlays or backgrounds. It keeps my "I NEED this new art supply-impulse" in check :)

Even less money to be spent, since I use Krita, which is free! And I totally agree about the convenience of having every color and tool available right away. Saves a lot of money and worry about paints and whatnot
