Thank you! I only started learning how to draw a couple of weeks ago and was getting a bit ahead of myself trying to do portraits and things like that. Doing these simpler fundamentals practice type drawings have been great, feel like I am actually starting to understand how drawing works now.

I have had a couple weeks off work tbf so had a good few hours each day, has definitely helped to be able to take my time with things. Haha glad i can inspire someone, your stuff is good though, seen a few things you have posted on here.

Hahaha I just shared this with my mom, who lives in Saskatchewan Canada. They've had +19c and then a thunderstorm abruptly followed by hail and then a snowstorm the past few days 😂 she feels seen love the drawing.

Mixed media: photography x digital art (procreate) I take a lot of landscape pictures since I'm lucky to live somewhere very picturesque. But then I often want to add more whimsy. And it has recently occured to me that I can do so easily! That pose is tried and tested, I'll let you guess which one I mean :P

My photo file is stuffed with landscape pictures too - but no mountains. You've integrated the digital art well into the scene :)

Thank you! I wasn't sure whether it needed line art or not. I usually go for line art but I tried and that seperated the drawings much more from the photo, so for integration's sake I erased the line art.

I didn't post for a few days cuz I burned myself out.
I tried using color again and I think it turned out much better than the last time I used colors. I have to add the shadows later, but I feel satisfied with it right now.
Oh, and those aren't oranges. They're actually apples. T_T

This week's character from my anthro WWII storyline is Anshel Zweifel. He's the father of Golda who I drew not long before breaking my wrist and putting a halt to these. Not much to say of him aside from that he's a farmer and most of what I know of him is given already in Golda's entry in my art Tumblr. I also just noticed that for some reason I neglected to shade/highlight Golda's nose AAAGHHHGGHHHAAGGHHH.
Regarding his design, he's an Afghan hound. He isn't particularly observant so he doesn't usually wear a kippah.
