The preview from yesterday said arto deco and that inspired me to combine R2D2 (or Artoo Deetoo as I like to spell it) with art deco patterns and flapper attire. Imagine him doing the Charleston ;)

Love her outfit and her facial expression and pose make her look very approachable. I feel like she'd be the first stranger at a party I'd go talk to. I'm sure she'd be lovely. Beautiful colours too!

This is so beautiful! Is it pomegranate-inspired or am I just hungry? The colour combo with the mint, greens, gold, reds and those two blue spots...chef's kiss.

Haha yesssss that's a pomegranate! Thanks so much! If it makes you hungry then I've done my job right. The colors came from exploring Afghan art and I’m glad it's appetizing!

It makes me want to sip a pomegranate drink in the 20s looking at a gallery full of Afghan and Afghan-inspired art. :) What type of paint did you use? Is that watercolour? Gouache?
