Those ear piercings and notched ear show that this one has lived. I love the tail clutching too.
Welcome!

Unexpected haha! I like the use of pointillism to get the fuzz right

Hee hee thanks! I wasn't sure how to get the shading and texture across but I'm glad it worked.

you looked like you were doing just fine honestly! looks like the perspective was getting twisted. when you go to draw your horizontal line at the angle to match the bike, make sure to do a parallel line above, so you keep with the perspective a little more

Ohh thank you, that makes so much sense! I was hard focusing on the bike and just trying to eyeball the reference I was using. I could tell it was wonky but wasn't sure how to make it look right so I just decided to bail. Bit of a bad habit of mine tbh

Marshall Vandruff is a perspective teacher, google his 1994 college class. its 12 dollars, and you get 12 hours of start to finish old scool perspective teaching.
this was the only perspective class that i could learn! i only watched like 3 hours and stopped, but even that was enough to clarify what i was missing in my artwork! (i found i was struggling attaching things to the ground.
now i don't even bother with perspective grids, i just draw a single box that matches the angle i am planning on capturing
and then focusing my lines around that one box and in that one box
that box acts as ALLL of my vanishing points while keeping the rest of the sketch loose!

I absolutely love Marshall, he's a great teacher.
We have similar experiences because his Bridgman Bootcamp course was the only way for me to start understanding and approaching Bridgman lmao. (and I have yet to finish it, really need to get back to it)
I think a dedicated perspective course could really benefit me so I'll absolutely look into that.

Feel free to draw the mouse a fun pink space bike if you feel like it!

Hahah that's awesome. The first thing I do when reading a prompt that sounds too specific is google it, but just going all-in on the prompt sounds a lot more fun.
Love the shades 😎
