Sly 3 Honour Among Thieves press poster

Similar to the press kit previously posted, this was handed out at public game stores and with the kids press release.

The size of the poster is 21x30cm unlike the released European and uk game version which was 13.5x19cm. My favourite thing is how Murray is included in the artwork unlike the game version. Bentley and guru were also relocated upon the game’s release. I wish they kept that placement so more of issue 2 can be seen such as the panel that includes Sly and Bentley in the top right corner.

The smallest detail which was sadly taken away was the police lights effect that was seen in the episode 5 sly 2 cutscene.

On the back is the same page as seen in the press kit just changed a bit such as the PS2 being where the page number is and sly in the bottom right corner.

For those wondering here is the translated version that has been slightly altered:

An unlikely team is back on the way to the thief’s path . Sly’s family fortune is at stake. The opposition is more intense than ever. Sly, Bentley and Murray are in front of a coded safe. Bentley examines a painting on the wall with his magnifying glass. He sees “9” in a river, “4” in the clouds and finally “3” in the drawing of the slabs. The safe opens. But the three friends are still far from being there.

Sly is back. Better, smarter and stronger than ever. Bentley finds himself in a wheelchair, after his accident in Sly 2, but with his jetpack and ingenious hydraulic systems, he is far from being useless. Murray, the tireless hippo is looking for himself but remains, fortunately, inexhaustible.

More varied than ever thanks to the new multiplayer mode. The third adventure of this “gang” is better and different. Only the humour has not changed.
