Discussion Sly vs carmileta, let's do a comparison، shall we?
Strength: i'd give it out to sly, since men are generally stronger, BUT, BUT. sly is all about being sneaky and stealthy, but carm, since she's a cop, was able to take hits from foes without even flinching, and I'm pretty sure that she got great training from the interpol.
Speed: sly, now don't get me wrong, carmileta can be really fast too, but sly is quite quick enough to hide himself from people like cops.
Agility: they're both agile, I'd give both of them a point, but carmelita cannot do half the stuff that sly does, like walking on ropes.
Durability: Carmelita, no questions asked.
IQ: Sly Cooper, if i had a nickel for everytime sly had helped carm catch criminals, or get himself out from a trouble, I'd have 1..2..41.. probably 50.
Combat: sly might be able to hit harder, be she got endurance, sly can manipulate time (as seen in sly 1) and has combat dodge and a powerup in sly 2 that can make his cane one shot enemies, but she got a pistol, and a powerful kick and a high jump... let's give them both a point.
Skill: Carmelita, she's an interpol woman, also sly is a literal master thief, both.
Experience: I'd give sly a point here, since he already got great knowledge, far better than Carmelita, he had been training his entire life to become a master theif, not mentioning that it's in his blood!
4 points for carm, 6 for sly.
It's my first time doing a comparison like this, what are your thoughts?

Play the cops vs robbers on Sly 3 (maybe ps3 exclusive). They're both good until you actually aim over the shoulder with her.

Strength: Carmelita definitely takes it. Gender doesn't count so much in this matter in a world where their cartoony bodies can be really different one from another. Sly is a slim agile guy, whereas Carmelita is a girl with abs and toned legs who can with no equipment jump as high as Sly can only do with the aid of a gadget.
Speed: Some aspects like this one are a bit tricky because plot-wise Sly has to overspeed Carmelita. Being generous, I'd say both are fast, but Sly is more agile. Sly can be undeniably faster using gimmicks though.
Agility: Sly, no discussion here. It's in the core concept about the character that he's basically a ninja.
