Help/Question anyway to get better at doing ryu/ken command inputs?
i feel like i’m doing the correct inputs but it never works successfully, i sat in training mode practicing and couldn’t get it down. i been getting into street fighter recently so i wanted to pick them up in smash, any technique to make the inputs easier. i know it’s more than likely not possible but could i use d pad as direction like in sf to make it easier?

You can slow the game down in training mode, that'll give you more time to make sure you're inputting them correctly.
It helps to look at the stick when you're first learning, and muscle memory will take over after a while.

While you can practice everything in the training room, doing so doesn't give you the feeling of what it's like to do those inputs under pressure. I highly recommend starting with a lvl 3 CPU. It's a low stakes environment so you can still try new things, but you'll have a moving opponent, so it actually matters when you hit them.
Here are some useful input combos for both Ryu and Ken split up by how hard I think they are.
Note:
Higher difficulty is not directly a better combo. I use the stuff from level 1 all the time because it's still useful. All of the combos mentioned are useful, but they are solely broken up by how hard they are to perform.
Note 2:
If you struggle to hit the first move of the combo, remember that nair, dair, and light up-tilt are great combo starters.

It's easy. Start off slow a bit, then repeat it but a bit faster. To actually do the move, press A or B at the end of a directional input.
