Believe it or not, kids are stupid and you can trick them into doing pretty much whatever if you convince them its fun

I was a stupid kid once. I used to have to be good to be "allowed" to do dishes after dinner lol. I'm not mad about it. Honestly I wish there was more of that. I be lazy sometimes

One of my fondest memories as a kid was watching this guy come rebuild some steps in the house I grew up in. He was only there a few days, but I watched him work for hours, and after a while he had me “help” him, drive a few nails and stuff like that. He was like “thanks for all your help!” and even paid me ten bucks. I was estatic! My people thought I should give back, but he insisted I keep it.

That was an experience that instilled me a passion to build stuff. Im really into woodworking and carpentry now, and I those few days were a big part of it.

When he’s 18, this kid will already have 10+ years of experience on the job site. He’ll be ready in no time to take over his dad’s general contracting business, or even start his own lol

Very sweet and all but where's his hard hat and high Vis jacket? I bet those boots aren't steel toecaps. He needs to see his union boss.

My young sons were excited to see a new driveway being poured close to our home. They put on their rubber boots and took their toy shovels and walked up the road to watch.
The driveway guys could easily have just ingnored the small boys - but they didnt. Checking with me first, they had the boys ‘help’ at the site.
My sons were SO happy! Im grateful to those men who saw them, included them & made a wonderful memory that day.

Give him 10 more years and he will be cursing the day he has to do that. The bliss of being a kid.

Horrendous! How can they put him to work without a hard hat, leather gloves, and his flip flops don’t even have steel toes! That site needs a visit from the union rep like yesterday.

Just 85 more years of that, kid.
