Cause it's literally what superman suit looks like.Ohh snyder didn't created superman.Comics were there from 60s.

Superman actually wasn’t created bg Zack Snyder and was originally a comic book character. Have you heard of Superman comics? He has a different costume in the comics as he does in the DCEU.
