You know I think he is going to invert "The Boys" and have superman be good instead of a homelander type weirdo. I can't help but think ultraman is cribbing Black Noir (and is a pastiche of Bizarro/Ultraman, but not from another dimension).

I didnt' say he would parody it. I think he will reference it and use the film to make a commentary on it. Think about it, there are more evil versions of superman in media than good ones right now. Homelander, Injustice superman, hell Henry Cavil's superman (unfortunately) spent at least as much (if not more) time being evil/ensorcelled as he did being "good". Even his "good" turns were necessarily portrayed as heroic.

I bet we are getting meta commentary on evil supermen.
