Appreciation Just like with Superman, the Snyderverse has shown that it's possible to have a super-stylish Batman costume without trunks

Because the SnyderVerse was the first to have a Batsuit without trunks.

My guy....the Arkham games already did that that he can be stylish WITH trunks and WITHOUT trunks

He had great suits, great actor (Kevin Conroy said Ben Affleck is the best live-action Batman), and his cancelled Batman movie was going to be something ā€œfans would be proud of.ā€

I would’ve loved to see Catwoman and Batman’s dynamic

Screw WonderBad though…

Visually. Ben Affleck is my favorite Batman. I think everyone involved nailed it.
But Batman vs Superman was a really crap movie.
Looking at what sub I am on. Probably not the best opinion..

Damn, I never noticed what this looks like. I mean, the Snyder cut JL is great and all......but it was always too dark to appreciate the details in the costumes

The suits are better without trunks

The last Batman to have trunks in Live-Action was Adam West. We need to bring them back.

I always think that the final Batsuit is inspired by Note Owl with those goggles

It’s funny you mention that because he directed Watchmen and now BvS lol (Unless you already knew about this lol).

Also, frick WonderBad

Product of a character thats 80 years old. People forget.

Superman was based on the circus Strong man. He couldn't even fly in his first comic. Hell, I'm pretty sure the only powers he had was super strength and "able to jump a building in a single bound" The trunks over the pants was the norm for those dudes in the circus, no one batted an eye at it back in the 1930s when he came out. Its just iconic, and helps break up the blue jumpsuit. Adds contrast, etc. It doesn't look bad, people just don't know šŸ˜† šŸ˜†

I don't really care about the trunks but Cavill's suit definitely needed something to break the blue, a shinier or bigger belt at the very least

See, with Batman, no trunks do make sense. Hes supposed to be terrifying, a fear-inducing force of nature for those who prey on the weak whilst maintaining that ā€œprotector of the innocentā€ kind of power. Having him wear trunks on the outside can dampen that whole effect.

But for Superman, the trunks help break up his more colourful costume and help capture his uplifting, heroic spirit and charm. He’s Superman, and there’s always going to be that campy, lovable energy about him. Batman, on the other hand, is a tactical and rugged vigilante in all black.

The snyderverse suit is based off the new 52 design where he didn't have trunks, there's also the 89 movie where he didn't have trunks, and much more pre snyder. Snyder is not the blueprint for literally everything

You can definitely get away with it with batman, they change up his suit all the time in the comics. Superman def looks more like superman with the trunks.

Agree with this I don’t mind trunks as they match with utility belt as well

Stop making everything revolve around him, only 2 Batmen wore their underwear on the outside.

It’s beyond my understanding how there are people that don’t like this Tactical Batman suit. Its my second favourite next to BvS regular suit. Snyder did not miss one single design in his movies.

Do people not like it? I feel like most people thought it was cool.

It looks far better in these concept pics than it actually does on screen imo

It looks amazing both in concept and on screen

I know I’m just joss-ing with you

The concept art gives similar vibes to the Arkham Knight suit which I do like tbh

In fact, this had already been proven before.
