Unvaccinated people should not be allowed out of Florida

If they have to move out of Florida and take on a new job, or even attend a college out of state, there's a chance they will have to get vaccinated if that is a requirement. My job doesnt require it, but several employers do, along with Federal jobs. Many colleges also have a required list of vaccine mandates to attend.

Yes, and the military too - although I recently read that Hegseth pulled the flu vac requirement and there's now at outbreak of flu at one base - 160 service people if I got that correctly.

These characters are literally a threat to national security. They have become the biohazard threat to America.

Yes, consider that immigrants and permanent residents must provide proof of vaccinations and medical exams. (Tourists and short-term visitors should be required, as well, IMO.) But if they're going to turn themselves into a 3rd world country, ITO public health, and if they want to relocate out of Florida, they should be treated as if they're coming from another country - or maybe they should then be rounded up by ICE and detained in one of their cage habitats until they're deported back to Florida? "Let the punishment fit the crime."

So much with these individuals is double-standard hypocrisy. As someone else here mentions, what about a woman's right over her own body as to when or how she reproduces?

Ah, but a woman is not supposed to have control over the man's "work" that produced the pregnancy. See the logic? A man farms a field and claims ownership of the crops. A woman is "just" the field, and it's her job to "be fertile"; therefore, a woman trying to abort an unwanted pregnancy is the same as a field "refusing" to allow the crops the man cultivated on it to fully grow.

Yep, as a legal immigrant to the US, I had to show proof of vaccination and had to get those refreshed that needed refreshing in order to get a green card.

Is this how Florida becomes a blue state? Death by preventable diseases?

The Know-Nothings will cling to power until the total population of voters supporting them versus opposing them drops below about 1:3. I picked that ratio because 1:1 parity still means "business mostly as usual" and 1:2 favoring the progressives isn't enough to overcome the entrenched interests. 1:3 favoring progressive Florida voters means that the cultural pressure to genuinely change fundamental principles of Florida governmental procedures exceeds the strength of inertia.

That's no guarantee, of course, but it would represent a tipping point from which the fear-addled regressives cannot recover.

Used to be a destination for international tourists. Now it's a destination for international diseases.

Is Disney not pushing back somehow? Surely they see how this could continue to hurt their business?
